Congress walk-out during Governor’s address
The Opposition Congress today staged a walk-out in the Punjab Assembly today during the Governor’s address on the opening day of the budget session here.
The Congress members led by Leader of the Opposition Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, walked out of the House while Governor Shivraj V Patil was highlighting achievements of the ruling SAD-BJP government in the state.
Earlier, senior Congress leader Avtar Singh Brar stood up and termed the Governor’s address as ”bunch of lies” and said we could no longer tolerate this. However, the Governor continued with his address unperturbed.
