Opposition Congress in Himachal Pradesh today alleged that the voice of party members was being muzzled by the ruling BJP.
Talking to mediapersons after staging a walkout in the Assembly, Leader of the Opposition Vidya Stokes and HPCC chief Kaul Singh alleged that Congress members were being deprived of opportunity to raise important issues pertaining to corruption, crime and deteriorating law and order.
Kaul Singh alleged that a person having close “saffron links” was allowed to set up several eco-tourism projects without meeting the required parameters.
Stokes said they had given notice for adjournment motion to discuss the issue of corruption against Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sukh Ram but it was not allowed.
