The inaugural Shimla International Film Festival for Documentary Short and Animation Films would be organised here from March 18th to the 20th.
The films which would be screened during the festival included Pum Pum, Whose is this Song, Vietnam Symphony, The Elephant Boy, Zero Degrees of Separation, Salata Baladi, All and the Ball and Burma VJ reporting from closed country.
The highlights of the festival will be a package of selected award-winning films of Mumbai international Film Festival and best of Films Division Documentary films, animation films and films on Himachal Pradesh.
In addition, two films entitled ‘For Whom the Jingle Bells’ and ‘Spot the Difference’ directed by Vivek Mohan from Himachal Pradesh would also be screened during the festival.
The festival is being organized by Films Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with Directorate of Information and Public Relations, government of Himachal Pradesh.
