Over 50 shops gutted in fire in South Delhi
More than 50 shops were gutted in a major fire that broke out early yesterday morning in South Delhi but no casualties were reported, fire officials said. The fire broke out at around 4:30 AM in a shop situated under the Defence Colony flyover, they said adding all the 58 shops there were gutted. At least 30 fire tenders took about four hours to douse the blaze, the official said, adding there were no casualties. The cause of fire is said to be an electrical short-circuit.
