Eve-teasing case: 2 members of girl’s family killed in Haryana’s Palwal
Two members of a family were allegedly killed and two others injured in a clash for opposing eve-teasing at Harphali village of Palwal today. The deceased have been identified as Layak Ram and his nephew Naveen.
Police said the clash erupted after Layak Ram accused a neighbourhood boy of teasing his daughter. This led into a heated argument between the two, which escalated into a fight. Later boy’s father Bhup Lal summoned his aides for support and in the clash two people were killed.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. A murder case has been registered against 17 persons.
