Police arrest 3 youth for robbing a trader
Chandigarh police on Saturday arrested three people in a snatching case at Manimaja on Saturday. The three had robbed owner of the Amar motor store of 60 thousand rupees during night hours at gunpoint.
The three were arrested from IT park. The accused have been identified as Surinder Singh Surajpur, Jitender singh of Nalagarh and Giurajnt Singh from Mohali.
SHO Rajesh Shukla said all the three accused have a criminal background. Police have also recovered four mobile phones from the youth possession.
The police are yet to recover a toy pistol and a knife, which the accused used at the time of the crime.
