UT police arrest 3 girls for begging
The Chandigarh police have detained three girls for allegedly begging in Sector 41 on Saturday morning. Sector 39 police stations SHO Charanjit Singh said these girls were arrested after an unknown person called the police station and complained about the girls. Interestingly, when the photographs of the girls were seen, they looked from well-off families and not beggars. When the SHO was asked about the girls being attired in expensive jeans and shirts, he tried to avoid the question. As per sources, the girls were allegedly found in a house of a cop and were in the city for flesh trade.
