Chandigarh police will celebrate police week from November 7. The celebrations promise loads of fun with events like wrestling and tattoo parade on the cards.
The Chandigarh police will celebrate Chandigarh police week from November 7. UT police IGP Pradeep Kumar Srivastava said the police week aims at bridging the gap between the general public and the police.
Raising day of the chandigarh police was celebrated for the first time in 2010. This year’s activities would include wrestling and Tattoo parade.
According to the IGP, the police week will be organized from November 7 th to 12 th. Chandigarh Administrator and Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil will be the Chief guest on day one.
