The Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Suraksha Samiti activist who attacked Jagtar Singh Hawara alleged being tortured in judicial custody in Burail jail.  

Nishant Sharma, an activist of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Suraksha Samiti alleged being tortured by jail officials in judicial custody in Bural Jail. He said he also moved an application for a medical examination in the district court on Saturday. His wife said he helped the CBI nab Punjab police AIG P.S. Sandhu who was caught taking 50,000 Rs bribe last year and he was now being pressurized by Sandhu to take back the complaint.

Nishant Sharma’s lawyer N.K. Nanda said they moved an application in the disitrict court and the court ordered a medical examination before Nishant was sent back to Burial jail.

Nishant Sharma came into the lime light after he attacked BKI terrorist Jagtar Singh Hawara in the court premises during a hearing in the burial jail break case. Nishant, with three other hindu activists attacked Hawara and raised slogans against Hawara and Paramjit Singh Bheora. They were arrested on the spot.
