Hotels in sector 10, Panchkula may be grand but you need to be able to make your way into them first, a process which may put your vehicle at risk. Well, parking remains a major problem here but former chief of the Panchkula Municipal Corporation B.B. Singhal has proposed solutions to the Haryana Urban Development Authority.
Parking in front of several hotels in Sector 10, Panchkula is a major hassle for residents. Inadequate space leads to choked parking lots which forces people to park their cars on the roads, thus creating traffic bottlenecks. Former chief of Panchkula Municipal Corporation, B.B. Singhal has suggested ways out to the Haryana Urban Development Authority.
He underlines the need for more parking spaces and suggests conversion of the vacant area around hotels into parking lots.
The recommendations may ease the pressure on the commuters as well as guests at hotels but only if they are implemented.
