The Panchkula police booked representatives of four hookah bars in Panchkula on charges of using nicotine based chemicals in the bars.

According to official police sources, cases have been registered against Alishah, Manager of Shashi Hub in Sector 5, Mohan of Dream Pipeline, Sector 9, Amit Verma of Arepic Infuses, Sector 9 and Aman Verma of Cafe Beans in Mansa Devi Complex.

The district drug controller recently raided hookah  bars in Panchkula and took samples of the material being used. Chemical analysis confirmed the presence of nicotine. The District Drug Controller filed complaints before the police against the four hookah bars. Further investigations are on.
