A unique book on the journey of ‘Tendulkar to Centurykar’ conceptualised by a local cricket enthusiast Kiran Mahadeokar was launched by BCCI Vice President Sudhir Dabir at a function here today.
The book compiles all the records, statistics and interesting trivia about batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar who recently achieved the distinction of scoring 100 centuries during his 20 year cricket career.
The book also carries details of every century, venue, team, balls faced etc…and has comments from luminaries like US President Barack Obama, Sunil Gavanskar and Lata Mangeshkar.
Former BCCI media panel member Rajan Nair was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Book is not for sale but copies will be available with the advertisers for complimentary distribution, the author said.
