Farmer murdered by neighbour over old enimity in Gurdaspur
A farmer was allegedly murdered over old enmity in a Gurdaspur village today.
It so happened that the victim’s brother was going to his fields when his neighbour attacked him. Rushing for his help, the farmer tried to fight the accused but was overpowered. The accused allegedly attacked him and his wife and three other members of his family with sharp-edged weapons.
The farmer was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The police have registered a case of murder and were on the lookout of the accused.
