Online admission to B Com started on Thursday.
Covered under the online process are all Chandigarh and Ludhiana colleges affiliated to Panjab University, including Department of Evening Studies. Information regarding application forms, number of seats in different colleges, eligibility criteria and reservation policy will is available on the website http://bcomadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The last date to submit application forms is June 30.
Looking at the cut-off scores for 2011, the college with the highest cut-off was Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharm College in Sector 32. The college accepted no student scoring below 103.4. Guru Gobind Singh College for Women in Sector 26 had the lowest cut-off and admitted a student scoring 79.4. Most of the colleges had cut-off scores in the range of mid-90 to mid-80.
Forms can be downloaded until 3 p.m., June 28. Students will have to fill the online application form with at least five options of colleges in order of their preference. Students of Ludhiana can submit their forms at PU Regional Centre, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, by June 30.
