Only if the problem of drinking water was not enough, now the power pangs are harassing the residents of the city beautiful.
City residents had to face a tough time on Thursday as many parts remained in the dark due to extensive power cuts…Due to a fault in the main power line, At around 5pm power supply to various sectors 32, 33, 45, 19 ,20 ,21, 22 , 23, 24 , 25 ,26, 27,28,29,36,42,35,18 and 41 was cut…
It was a harrowing time for the residents….Along with the continuous drinking water shortage, the power problem has just added to their woes…Even the shopkeepers were forced to close the shops as power remained cut in the markets as well..People were seen taking walks in parks to get some respite from the heat..
It was only at around 11 pm at night that the electricity could be restored…
For now the residents are just hoping that they get some respite from the persistent power cuts.
