Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will wind up his two-day visit to poll-bound Himachal Pradesh today. Rahul will meet the elected members of Lok Sabha Youth Congress Committees and members of Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress at Dhaulpur Parade Ground followed by meeting with elected Congress members of Panchayati Raj bodies of the state.
Yesterday he got a rousing reception from party leaders and workers and held close-door meetings with party functionaries and said he would devise a mechanism to decentralise power when it forms a government. On allocation of tickets, Rahul made it clear that paratroopers will not be accomodated and that recommendations of block, district and state Congress committees would be given weightage.
