British High Commissioner calls on J-K Governor
British High Commissioner in India Sir James Bevan today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhawan, an official spokesman said.
“In the meeting, which lasted for nearly an hour, they discussed various matters of interest for promoting Indo-UK relations,” the spokesman said. Sir Bevan was accompanied by First Secretary (Political) in the British High Commission at New Delhi Alex Bamford, he added.
The British High Commissioner also called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah later in the evening, the spokesman said. He said that Omar discussed various matters of mutual interest with Bevan during the meeting.
