The former girlfriend of slain suspect Michael Page in Wisconsin gurudwara shooting has been arrested. She is facing charges of possession of weapons.
However, it is unclear if the weapon was illegal and if she is involved in the shootings. Reportedly, during a search operation, the police recovered a gun from the residence of Misty M Cook, the ex-girlfriend of Michael Page, who allegedly went on a shooting rampage inside the gurudwara on Sunday in Wisconsin, killing six people. He was shot dead by the security officers. A nursing student, Cook lived with Page at two separate apartments in South Milwaukee. So far she has not been charged in the shooting incident. Civil Rights groups in the US want the incident to be investigated as a hate crime.
