Kandola remanded for 7 days in ‘ice’ drug case
The Punjab Police have secured the custody of 200-crore rupees ice drug case accused Ranjit Singh alias Raja Kandola for seven days.
The Jalandhar police brought him on transit remand from Delhi and produced him before chief judicial magistrate. While the police sought his custody for 15 days, the court agreed for seven days. Kandola was arrested from Delhi on August 11. The Punjab Police had appro-ached the Delhi Police for help in arresting Kandola after he escaped from the police net in Jalandhar in June this year. The police had raided a farmhouse and claimed to have seized synthetic drugs worth Rs 200 crore.
