Sukhbir congratulates Vijay Kumar for clinching silver

Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal today congratulated Indian Army marksman Vijay Kumar for clinching a silver medal in the men’s 25 metre rapid fire pistol event in the London Olympics.

Congratulating Vijay Kumar, Badal said that his achievement in his maiden Olympics has made every Indian proud.

He said that credit goes to Vijay Kumar, who maintained his cool despite stiff challenge from the Chinese and Cuban shooters.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who is also Sports Minister of Punjab, said that his medal will motivate another Indian players for coming events.

He said that Vijay Kumar has made India proud in this glorious moment and every Punjabi is proud of his outstanding achievement.
