Candlelight march taken out in support of Shivali
Thousands of people today took out a candlelight march in support of suicide victim Shivali.
The BA first year student had ended her life two days back after the police allegedly humiliated her for travelling along with her male friend. The police had passed the comments after stopping their vehicle at a naka. The protesters demanded justice for Shivali. The Punjab government has already ordered a probe and suspended a police official
