Devak Bridge to be repaired from October: NHAI
Having suffered extensive damage in its seven pillars due to flash floods, 500-meter Devak Bridge on Jammu-Pathankot National highway in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir will be repaired from October this year.
“In the month of October 2012, the repair work will be started on the Devak river in J&K Highway in Samba district”, Project Director of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) R P Singh told reporters here today. He further said the repair work on the bridge would be completed in the month of February 2013.
