Police clueless in Faridkot kidnapping case

The outrage among residents of Faridkot over the kidnapping of a minor girl by hooligans from her home has not been enough to egg police officials on into action.

The group of miscreants barged into the house of the victim three days ago and kidnapped her after holding the family hostage. The enraged residents reacted with a complete bandh. But that has not helped police land any leads. This is despite the fact that police sought three days time to crack the case. Social organizations have joined the vociferous protests over the brazen kidnapping and have threatened to take the protests to the state level.
