Congress Poll Manifesto

HP Polls 2012: The Himachal Pradesh Congress has released its manifesto for the state Assembly elections. Out of power in state, the Congress has promised among other things, an unemployment allowance to the educated youth. It has also promised free travel for students in Roadways buses and free laptops to toppers of matric and +2 examination.

The Congress also promised to regularise contract workers after 5 years of service and claimed to form a comprehensive policy for future appointments.It also promised to set up two new universities and an international airport in Shimla.
