Kumari Shelja recommends opening of zoo at Morni
Union Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Kumari Shelja has recommended opening of a zoo at Morni in Panchkula.
She put forward the recommendation before Haryana Environment and Forest Minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav. She said this will not only protect wildlife but also encourage tourism in the state.
Captain Ajay Singh Yadav assured Kumari Shelja of taking steps in this direction. Earlier, both the ministers urged people to protect the flora and fauna of the region. Schoolchildren also presented a cultural program on the occasion.
