Property dealer arrested on murder charges
A 33-year-old small time property dealer was arrested for allegedly murdering another who was also in the same business over rivalry, police said. Daulat Ram, a resident of Aman Vihar in outer district, was arrested for the murder of Sandeep. In the incident that took place yesterday, Sandeep was shot dead and his friend Vikram was injured. Police laid a trap and arrested Ram and during interrogation he confessed to the crime.
“He disclosed that he had some money dispute with Sandeep of Mubarakpur Dabas as both are in same property business. There was tussle going on between them on this issue,” a police official said.
