Rani Breast Cancer Trust walkathon to highlight cancer

NGO Rani Breast Cancer trust will organize a 31-hour-long walkathon on a treadmill at the Plaza on Saturday in Chandigarh.

The walkathon will start at 10 am with UT Advisor KK Sharma doing the first steps. Thousands of people are expected to participate in the walkathon.  Managing trustee of Rani Breast Cancer Trust Bittu Sandhu explained that October month is observed as Breast Cancer month all over the world. She said the main aim of the walkathon is to make women aware of this killer disease. She said cure is possible if the disease is detected in time.
