Minor girl gangraped in Malerkotla, accused apprehended

The Malerkotla police yesterday arrested two persons for abducting a minor girl on March 2 and raping her. The third accused is absconding. Police said Mohammad Zahid and Shamshad Ali, both residents of Malerkotla. had been arrested. The third accused, Mohammad Latif , had fled. The SSP said the matter had been brought to the notice of the police by the girl’s parents. The medical examination of the girl had been conducted at the Malerkotla Civil Hospital.
