Chauhan new Additional Judge of HP High Court

Monday Feb 24, 2014, Shimla: Senior Advocate Trilok Singh Chauhan was sworn-in as Additional Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court today.He was administered the oath of office by Acting Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir at a simple ceremony here.

Justice Chauhan, aged 50, studied law from Panjab University, Chandigarh and enrolled himself as an advocate with the Himachal Bar Council in 1989. He was appointed Amicus Curiae by the High Court in several cases relating to violation of environmental laws in the state.
